Weekend?? What weekend?
This last weekend was so unrelaxing. Paul worked on Saturday and I think all I did was yell at my kids the entire day. I was a monster. All of them got in trouble. Between trying to get Hanley to clean her room and get Zachary to go potty on the toilet (yes, he should have been potty trained a long time ago), it was a wreck. When Paul got home I went grocery shopping...Alone!!
Paul's mom came home from the hospital Sunday. I think she's nervous to be home. His dad is not is good shape either. And she is not allowed to drive for 4 weeks and his dad does not drive. I will be taking them meals as often as I can to help out.

11 Years!!
Today is our 11 year wedding anniversary. It's so crazy to think it's been that long since we got married. Paul bought me a journey diamond necklace. It was so fun to get something (considering I sometimes only get a card) :-). We will go out to lunch tomorrow or something and leave the kids home with his sister. We never go out without them so it'll be nice to get away for a couple hours together.
On the not so fun side of things, Paul's mom had a triple bypass surgery this morning. Surgery went well. But now the hard part begins, recovery.

Baby got an oweee!!
Monday afternoon I get a call from the babysitter that Savanna has cut her finger really bad, and she isn't sure if it's broken. Ahhh!! So I rushed to get her and took her to the pediatrician. He took the bandage off and said 'uh, I think we'll just clean this up and have you take her to the ER'.. Ahhhh again!!! So off to the ER we go. The ER was packed! There had been two ambulances and a life flight that had come in. And so many people in the waiting room. We arrived at 3:00 pm, got X-rays shortly after. Finally about 6:00 pm we are taken back to a room. The bone seemed to be ok. The doctor said that her finger was half-amputated. About 7:00 they gave her some medicine to put her out and started stitching her up. They finished at about 7:45. We had to wait for her to be fully awake before we could leave. It was such a long night. She has not acted like it's painful at all, she just holds her hand up to her side to protect it. It's amazing how resilient kids can be. She's a toughy.
