PB&J's
Zachary has only been wanting to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for weeks now. For breakfast, lunch and dinner and in between. In four days I went through two loaves of bread. And now Savanna wants them too. Before when I'd try to make them an easy PB&J sandwich, they never ever wanted one. I don't mind that they are loving them, but seriously, four a day is a little crazy. They'll even eat one right before dinner, and still eat dinner.

Surgery
I had another surgery on my eye. I opted to do it in the office instead of at the hospital. It was so awful. The procedure hurt so bad and it still hurts now. All the filler behind my eye adds so much pressure it hurts to even open my eyes. Even if I would have had the surgery in the hospital it still would hurt after the fact. But the procedure was completely awful.

Fun with Paige & Brynlie
Paige & Brynlie came over on Friday night to have a sleep over. Zachary, Savanna & Brynlie had fun sleeping in the tent and watching a movie while the rest of us watched Hunger Games. On Saturday we hiked up to the Grotto and had a picnic lunch before we went home. It was lots of fun. Zachary & Savanna were so worn out after Paige lefted that they both fell asleep for several hours.

First Day of School
It is Hanley's first day of Junior High. I can't believe she is growing up so fast. Yesterday she was able to go to the school and find all of her classes and meet all of her teachers. Zachary (Mrs. Swenson) started 2nd grade today. He woke up super excited. Savanna had her Kindergarten (Mrs. Lew) assessment today then she will offically start next week.

Kids
Paige and Brynlie came over for dinner the other night. Paige spent lots of time reading our old blog books. The kids love seeing Brynlie and she never wants to leave.

Animals
On Tuesday we took our new cat and dog to get fixed. We took them to the Spay/Neuter clinic. The cat was free and the dog was only $40. I got a quote from the vets office and it was going to be almost $200 just to get the cat fixed. Are you kidding me? I am so glad we found this other place. Is this just the cutest face you've ever seen?

Squaw Peak
After we went to the waterfall we drove up Squaw Peak. The kids couldn't believe that you could see the entire valley from up there. Right before I took a picture of the kids, Hanley scared Savanna and made her cry.

Bridal Veil Falls
We took the kids to see Bridal Veil Falls. There is a little paved trail you can walk up to get to the bottom of the waterfall. There is a little pond full of fish and you can feed them.

Big Chair
We went to the store and they had this huge chair that the kids sat on. They probably weren't supposed to touch it but the ladies at the checkout just smiled when they climbed in it, so hopefully they were OK to be in there.

Swimming With Cousins
Yesterday Kathy and her kids came up to go swimming with us. We ate pizza and snacks and swam for hours.

Meeting Mitt
Hanley had a chance to meet Mitt Romney at the county fair. She was super excited and texted me this picture of her with him.

Weekend
We went to my parents for the weekend. My niece, Lanie, was baptized on Saturday. The county fair was going on through the weekend so the kids got to get their faces painted, pet the animals and watch a ventrioloquist show. We stopped at the splash pad and ate pizza to end the day.
