Back to School!

Hanley went back to school today. She's in 3rd grade. I can't believe it. The class she has this year has 2 teachers that both work part-time. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. Hopefully she will like this arrangement. I think it will be fun for them to have a little change throughout the day. I am glad that summer vacation is over, since paying for 3 kids at the babysitter full-time is a little much. Zachary will start preschool in 2 weeks.

County Fair

We took the kids to the county fair on Saturday. Savanna could hear some sheep baaa'ing and kept saying 'shhhhhh'. It was so funny. But when she saw them she got really excited. Hanley tried the climbing wall but didn't make it too far due to taking her flip-flops off and having no traction.

Paige's Baby Shower

After weeks of getting ready for this we finally had a baby shower for Paige. She's having a girl and she's due the end of August. We had 18 people show up. We had a good time and she got lots of good things.



My cousin's wife made this adorable diaper cake. It's a package of diapers cleverly made into a cake with fun items attached.

Hanley's Baptism

Hanley got baptized on August 2. My dad baptized her and my little brother did the confirmation. When Hanley came up and out of the water she looked at me and said "That was awesome!". It was very cute. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of her in her white clothes.
