First Mow

I mowed our front lawn for the first time after our dry winter then 2 late snow storms. It looked so nice and green after all of the water from the melting snow.

Maverick

This cat loves Savanna. Once she started to pet him, he wrapped himself around her hand so she couldn't stop.

38th Birthday

Today was my 38th birthday. My mom was at my aunt's house for the weekend so me and Savanna went up to have lunch with her and my aunt & uncle and my grandma. It was really fun. Then when we got home we all went to the Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 movie. It was a fun day.

Pet Day

Savanna's class earned a Pet Day so I took our dog Bugar to the school. We waited outside and the class came rushing out. I was a little worried with all of those kids running at him all at once that he'd get nervous. But he wasn't. They all started petting him and he just laid down and loved it. I'm sure he wondered what it was all about.

Check-ups

The kids had dental check-ups today. Hanley and Zachary didn't have any cavities but Savanna had 2 small ones. When we got done, even knowing she had to go back and get shots, she said "I love going to the dentist!"

Snow

We have hardly had any snow this winter. I knew we'd get more this spring. It snowed yesterday and a little on today. We had about 5 inches in our backyard but our driveway was dry. It was actually really nice to have the water on the lawn but not have to drive in the snow. When it first started, it had been windy all day so there was a lot of dirt in the air. By the time I parked in the garage, my car had just gotten the first part of the snow. When it dried it was completely dirty.

Spring Break - Aquarium

Saturday Paul had to take some kids from the school down to Richfield and Zachary went with him. They left at 7:00am and didn't get home until 1:15 at night. It was a very long day. I took the girls and we met my cousin Laurie and her girls at the Aquarium. It was a fun place to see. It is so expensive but Laurie had a membership and was able to get me and Hanley in for free so we only had to buy a pass for Savanna. Then after we got back from there, we met my parents for lunch, then went to a movie. Hanley took a friend to see Insurgent and me and Savanna went to Cinderella.

Spring Break - Swimming

We took the kids to the Provo Rec Center to go swimming. It had slides, playground in the water, rock walls and a cliff jump. It was packed of course because of Spring Break but they loved it.

Spring Break - Hang Time

Wednesday we met Paige and Brynlie at Hang Time and the kids jumped for a couple hours. This is the only picture I got of Hanley the entire spring break. She would not let me take any pictures and the only reason I got this one is because Paige grabbed her.

Paige and Brynlie slept over Wednesday night then Thursday morning I went to work for a little while and Paige had a job interview so Paul was home with the kids. Just after Paige got back she got a call saying she got the job.

Spring Break - HOME

I took the kids to see the movie HOME. It was cute. The theater was full of little kids and they all seemed to love it.

Savanna's 2nd Grade Program

Savanna has been singing these songs for months preparing for the program. They are still singing the songs that Hanley sang in 2nd grade.
