Snow Geese

Every February, there is a Snow Goose migration from Southern California/Mexico to Canada, and they stop in Delta for a few days. They usually hang out at the reservoir, but they came into a field right by my parents house for the night. We were lucky to still catch them in the field the next morning. It's so amazing to see them all take flight at the same time and fly in sync.

Straight Hair

Savanna loves when we straighten her hair. It looks so much longer. I told her that we can't do it anymore though because it makes her look way too old.

Bowling

We took Zachary and Savanna bowling. It's always a fun time.

New (to us anyway) Car

We have a few cars, but they are all getting a little high in miles and Hanley is going to be driving soon, so we bought a new car (2010, but new for us). We'll still drive the same cars we currently do for work and daily driving, and Hanley can drive my old mini-van when she gets her license next month. We'll save this for out of town trips or special occasions.

20th Anniversary!!

Paul and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary today! It's gone by so very fast that it's kind of scary. We've lived in 1 apartment, 2 homes, had 3 children together, 1 grandchild, many animals and lots more. I love Paul more and more all the time and I'm so grateful that we've hit this milestone. Paul bought me this beautiful necklace. I bought him a Kindle.

Valentine's Day

The kids were excited to take their boxes to school. They each had a big box of chocolates for their teachers along with a handmade card and a keychain. The keychains were actually supposed to be Christmas presents but we couldn't find them, so they ended up being Valentine's presents instead.

Zach got money from the tooth fairy and he bought this for me. We had gone to Walgreen's and he asked me if he could have one more dollar "for the extra tax". He made me turn around while he checked out so I wouldn't see him.

I helped out with Savanna's party at school. We played a bingo game.

I picked up some heart shaped pizzas for dinner to make it easy on myself.

2016 Blog Book

I got my 2016 blog book in the mail today. It's definitely one of my favorite things. The kids love to sit and read past years books.

Haircut

Zachary's hair was getting so long. I had to force him to let me cut it.

Valentine's for the Mail

The kids made some Valentine's to put in the mail to Grandma and Grandpa, their cousin Ashley who is on a mission and Grandma Great. They came up with some really cute cards.

Valentine's Boxes

Zachary and Savanna made some Valentine's boxes for school. After cutting up 3 boxes, we finally decided on something that Zach would stick with.

Two Teeth Pulled

Zachary had to get 2 teeth pulled and a spacer put on to keep the spaces open while the other teeth grow in.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

I went to Zachary and Savanna's parent/teacher conference. Both of them got great reviews and were done within minutes. This is an art project hanging outside of Zach's class.

Work Baby Shower

Some girls at my work threw a baby shower for another girl at work. It's fun to get together and celebrate things like this. This is just a few of the great people I get to work with every day.

Playing in the Snow

Paul was trying to show the kids how to use their snow brick makers that they got for Christmas. I think they've tried them before, but the snow wasn't a good "packing" snow. But after the melting we've had, it finally worked. They got 2 rows made before they gave up.

County Fair

Savanna signed up to do her county fair report on Millard County. Zach did the same county two years ago when he was in 4th grade. We were able to use all of the same information on Savanna's board.

Beautiful Sky

We've had so many evenings this winter when the sky has been so beautiful.
