Father's Day

We had Paul's family over to our house for a BBQ. I made everyone get together for a picture before anyone left and we got a pretty good picture. Then we realized that Zachary was standing in the house making faces through the window. So after yelling at him and dragging him out of the house for another picture, and him crying, we took about 10 more to finally get another good one.

The Best Dad

I just wanted to say Happy Father's Day to my dad. He is really the greatest and I can't imagine not having him in my life.

Girls Camp

Hanley went to Girls Camp last week Wednesday to Saturday. She was so exhausted when she got home, she slept for hours. And I mean a deep deep sleep. I took a picture of her sleeping to show just how out of it she was, but she would absolutely hate me if I posted it. Anyway, she had lots of fun. They stayed at a KOA campground by Quail Creek. They spent one day boating and one day hiking in Zion National Park. She had lots of fun.

Aquarium

I took Zachary and Savanna to the Living Planet Aquarium. We all had fun seeing things we've never seen before.

Hey Jack!

I bought Paul a Duck Dynasty shirt for his birthday and found one just like it (except Paul's is blue) for Zachary. He was so excited to wear the same shirt as dad.

Lost Tooth

Savanna has had a loose tooth for weeks now and won't let me pull it out. She came to me yesterday saying that it was ready and she was going to pull it. She came back with a papertowel that had blood on it and I said "did you get it?" She said "no, still trying"and ran back to the bathroom. Then she came in so excited that she had gotten it. I got a sandwich bag out for her to put it in, and she was completely shaking with excitement that she could barely get it out of the papertowel and into the bag. She was very excited.

Reservoir

I took the kids to swim at the reservoir on Saturday. They had a blast and were completely worn out when we got home. They had a bath and ate and fell asleep for hours.

Take my picture

Lately Zachary never wants his picture taken and usually tries to put his hand in front of the camera. Yesterday while Savanna was at gymnastics, we went outside so he could ride his scooter. He ran up to me and said "you have to take a picture of me in front of that water!"

Ride to the park

We went for a ride to have some lunch. Hanley was selling lemonade with her friend so we stopped and got some on the way. After lunch we stopped and let Zachary and Savanna get some energy out on the playground.
