Christmas
Zach and Savanna have wanted these big bears forever. They ask all the time and on every Christmas list. This year when they were writing their lists, one of them said "well, we will never get them but we can write it on our lists anyway". They were so excited.

Flat Tire
It was snowing so I was going to drive Hanley to work in one of our 4x4's, come home and get ready, then drive myself to work.
Just as we pulled into the parking lot at her work, something felt weird. I got out to look and the tire was completely flat. The side was totally ripped open.
Hanley went in to work. Paul was already picking up kids for school so he couldn't come help me. I have roadside assistance so I called them. It was going to be about 45 minutes before they showed up. I was almost out of gas so I had to only start the car a few times to get warmed up. After about an hour, roadside called me to see if they had showed up yet. I told them no and then they had to call someone else. So, it was going to be another 45 minutes. I sat there from 5:15 to almost 8:30 before they finally showed up. Paul was done at work around 8:15 and got there minutes before they showed up. I had to get to work, but still had to go home and get ready, so I took Paul's car and left him there with the guy to change the tire. It was quite the morning.

Volleyball
Savanna played volleyball this year and loved it and was really good. They only lost 2 games out of about 10. She's excited to play again next year.

Messy Backpack
Zach's backpack was SO heavy. I told him to dump it out on my bed and we'd go through it. He had candy wrappers, a million papers, deodorant and cologne. Afterwards, he said "it's so much lighter." I told him that is how it is when I clean out my purse too.
